I see all the posts & reviews. Most are from pretty long ago. I just went there, guided by a reference to go there. The store shelves were full of great items I thought. I inquired about sausage and was told by the counter-person that there was a butcher in-house. I went down to where he was and asked for 3 links hot & 3 links mild sausage, as a taste test before I buy more. He carried them up and gave them to the counter-person who wrapped them & rang them up. Sweet. Imagine my surprise when I got them home & found the hot sausage smelling rotten. The mild was OK. The hot was obviously old, even the color wasn't right. But he didn't let me anywhere near the meat did he...carried them to her himself. Well. What sense was it to make an enemy over 3 links of hot sausage? He sold them, yup no doubt...and will never sell me another penny of anything. In fact; the pasta we bought at the same time fell apart in the pot when we cooked them; indicating being very old. So, maybe it was a great place back 4-5 years ago but suspect now folks. Try Ferraro's instead.
